FREE QUOTES
The Client will receive a free quote for his translation request. The quote will be provided by the Translator and it will be issued on the basis of his previous evaluation of the documents to be
translated. The Client shall provide the Translator with all the texts to be translated in addition to all the technical information and if necessary the specific terminology required to understand the text. The quote will quantify the service and will include:
• The number of conventional pages to be translated, calculated on the basis of the total number of characters contained in the text (one page …. characters);
• The language pair;
• The detailed description of the way in which the translation was priced. The bill will be issued on the basis of the quote presented to the Client by the Translator [based on the counting of the characters contained in the computer’s final Microsoft Word document, under FILE, PROPERTIES, STATISTICS];
• The date of delivery of the translation;
• The format in which the document will be handled in the case of a specific layout request.
• Any special rates applied for supplementary services previously requested by the Client, such as urgency, specific research or any other service that goes beyond translation services in itself.

The mother tongue check on our translation service is free of charge
– Editing or proofreading texts machine translated or translated by others:
  • 25% of the fee for minor editing;
  • 50% of the fee for modest and relevant editing;
  • 100% full fee for substantial editing
– Terms of delivery as agreed upon in the quote;
– Terms of payment as agreed upon in the quote;
– Competent court for disputes in the translator’s country or city of residence.

BIOGRAPHY
Anna Chiaraluce was born in Perugia, in Umbria; she used to live and work in Milan and then in New York. She has regularly resided in Paris, Lyon and Grasse-Antibes and in the USA, having been married to an American citizen since 1982. In 2010, she graduated in Linguistic Mediation Translator and Interpreter, French and English, at the Istituto Superiore Mediatori Linguistici of Perugia, and has worked Freelance since 2011. She has lived in the charming town of Corciano since 2002. At her initial artistic studies at the Bernardino di Betto State Institute of Art in Perugia—as a Designer of Architecture and Furniture—she has added professional experience in Artistic Silk Screen Printing at a Art Printing House in Milan and an uninterrupted personal research by learning by herself the oil painting technique and producing works for herself and her family. During the years spent in Milan, she applied herself to the commercial-administrative secretariat field, and worked at the Australian delegation for foreign trade Austrade/Consulate General of Australia. During her stay in New York, she worked for TPRO, The Travel Professional, an international tour operator at the time. Since 2011, she has been collaborating with Professor Keith Carter, a native English-American translator, specializing in translating commercial, technical and artistic, museum, corporate and professional websites. She is registered in LinkedIn and PROZ (where you can consult her Curriculum Vitae). She is an associate member of ATA, the Association of American Translators, profile no. 258455.

Keith Carter, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He has permanently lived in Italy since 1982. He has worked in Milan, New York and Perugia teaching English to individuals and companies, having graduated in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University USA – [Titles of the RSA-TEFL Certification for Teaching of English Language as a Foreign Language, issued by the “Syndicat International d’Examination”, Paris, France] and having acquired thirty years of experience in this field. Since 2003, he has also been working as a native English translator, specialising in the translation of commercial, technical, artistic, museum, corporate and professional websites. His clients include companies such as SVILUPPUMBRIA and institutions such as the Italian Ministry for Cultural Assets and Activities MIBAC.
